Individuals may normally apply for
British citizenship after five years of qualifying
residence, or three years if married to a British citizen.
Individuals who have spent more than 90 days out of the U.K.
in the twelve months prior to their application, or more
than 450 days in the previous 5 years (270 days for three
year applications) may well encounter difficulties with
their applications. Applicants often need to prove that
their tax affairs and N.I. contributions are up to date.
Rajinder Narain & Co has vast experience in advising
clients on British citizenship applications, and on British
nationality issues, and our team will be pleased to process
your application on your behalf. |
